Was talking about relationships at night. Just like what others say, it takes 2hands to clap. It's about;
1) Compromising - No one is perfect in this world. If we love each other, we've to love their flaws too. Been in a r/s doesnt gives us the right to change our partner. They're who they're, as time, they might change a little, embrace these changes.
2) Communication - The difference between a guy & a gal, when a gal is upset or facing problems, she wants her partner to lend a listening ear and to empatize, NOT to be a 'Mr Know It All' that gives solution.
A guy doesnt share when they're down or when faced with problems, but yet they expect gals to be understanding and give them the space guys need. A lot of times, gals do not know it as it's not written on the face. It is ok not to share problems as guys always have higher prides, but at least say that they're facing something and need a space to think or relieve stress, and when it's over, tell us that u're ok, and show us the normal you again. It's all about letting each other know your feelings, be it bad or good.
3) Forgive and forget - No one is perfect in this world, everyone makes mistake, be it a minor or major one. If we're willing to give our partner a chance, we'd not bring it up again, just like this scenario; A guy broke the law and is brought to the Court for trial. Judge based on explanation, freed the guy from charges.
But many times couples just never fail to quarrel and bring up the past, it makes me feel like this scenario; Judge sentence me a life sentence and monthly, he ask me back to court for trial again, but each time, it's with more charges, I guess this is worse than sentence to death.
A lot of time when we choose to forgive our partner, we are afraid, what if this happens again, wht if that happens again? Everything in life is a risk, just like gambling, if we're afraid to lose, then dont gamble.
4) Trust - I guess this is one of the most difficult ones, but it's a two-way thing.If we want our partner to trust us, we've to learn to trust them too. It cant be we expect everything from them, but yet we dont do anything at all.
